2. Acceptance of terms
By using this Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into agreements. If you are accessing this Website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use this Website or submit any enquiry through it.
3. Nature of the website and services
This Website provides information about Bondhold and its legal services, and offers a means for prospective clients to make initial contact. The Content on this Website is provided for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
Bondhold's legal services are available to clients in Malaysia and, in respect of cross-border matters, to clients whose matters have a connection to Malaysia. Services are not offered to residents of all jurisdictions.
4. No solicitor-client relationship without engagement
Submitting an enquiry through this Website, sending an email, or making a telephone call to Bondhold does not create a solicitor-client relationship. A solicitor-client relationship is established only when a written Engagement Letter has been issued by Bondhold and accepted by the client.
Until an Engagement Letter is in place, no information you share with Bondhold in connection with a potential engagement should be considered legally privileged.
5. Fees and payment
Fees for each engagement are agreed in writing in the Engagement Letter before any work begins. The fees set out on this Website are starting fees and represent the minimum for each service; the fee for a specific engagement will be agreed based on the scope of work.
Payment terms are set out in each Engagement Letter. Where additional work becomes necessary outside the agreed scope, this will be discussed and agreed in writing before it is undertaken.
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Invoices are payable in Malaysian Ringgit unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Website use
6.1 Permitted use
You may use this Website for lawful purposes only — namely, to learn about Bondhold and its services and to make enquiries about potential engagements.
6.2 Prohibited activities
- Using the Website in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its underlying systems
- Transmitting harmful, offensive, or misleading content through any contact mechanism on the Website
- Reproducing, distributing, or commercially exploiting any Content from this Website without written permission
7. Intellectual property
All Content on this Website — including text, structure, and design — is the property of Bondhold or its licensors. You may view and print Content for your personal, non-commercial use only. No Content may be reproduced, distributed, or otherwise used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to use Bondhold's name, logo, or branding.
8. Disclaimers
The Content on this Website is provided for general information only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. For advice specific to your circumstances, please arrange a formal consultation.
While we take care to keep the Website current, we make no representations as to the accuracy or completeness of the Content and accept no liability for reliance on it.
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted or free from errors or that defects will be corrected.
9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability in connection with the Website (as distinct from a formal engagement) shall not exceed RM 500.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Bondhold against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of this Website in breach of these Terms or in breach of any applicable law.
11. Third-party links
This Website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. Bondhold has no control over those websites and accepts no responsibility for their content or privacy practices.
12. Termination of access
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to this Website at any time and without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms.
13. Confidentiality during enquiries
If you share sensitive personal or legal information through the contact form or by email prior to the commencement of a formal engagement, we will treat that information with reasonable discretion but cannot guarantee confidentiality to the same standard as applies within a formal solicitor-client relationship. We recommend that you limit the information shared at the enquiry stage to what is necessary to establish whether an engagement may be appropriate.
14. Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this Website shall first be subject to good faith discussion between the parties. If not resolved within 30 days, the matter shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
16. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bondhold in relation to your use of this Website. In the event of a formal engagement, the terms of the Engagement Letter shall take precedence over these Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
17. Changes to these terms
